Recently, i-dle’s Minnie, Soyeon, and Miyeon appeared on SBS PowerFM’s Wendy’s Young Street radio show to promote their ninth mini-album We made.

When asked if they prepared anything special for their summer comeback, the members answered, “It was originally scheduled for May but got delayed. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be a summer comeback,” adding, “We’ve been exercising hard and applying oil to match the concept.”
Minnie said she was happy to take on the intro part of their new song again. Miyeon revealed, “While preparing for this album, I reached out to Soyeon for the first time to ask if she could give me more parts.” Soyeon responded that she shared her parts with Miyeon.
The conversation then turned to their 1st place promise. Miyeon, who enjoys physical affection, suggested a “kiss promise” and said, “Even though I don’t want to do it, the members’ reactions are funny, so I mentioned it,” adding, “I’ll put Soyeon, who I dislike the most, in the middle and fulfill the promise.”
In response to a listener’s question about any celebrities they recently became close to, Miyeon mentioned IVE’s Leeseo. She said, “She’s like a younger sister who contacted me first and even sent flowers to my concert. We’re planning to eat together soon.” She then added, “I’m going to pay for the meal,” showing her caring older sister side.
Minnie gave an impromptu shoutout to IVE’s Rei. She said, “Even though she’s younger, Rei was the one who asked me for my contact first, so I’m grateful,” adding, “I really want to have a meal together,” spreading warmth.
Meanwhile, i-dle has demonstrated strong ticket power with a successful large-scale world tour ahead of their comeback. Starting with a sold-out concert in February at the KSPO DOME in Seoul, they became the first Korean girl group to perform at Taipei Dome. In June, they performed for around 80,000 fans over two days at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium.
The group began their promotional activities for the new song “Gimme Dat Love” on Mnet’s M Countdown on the 9th. They will also perform at Lollapalooza in Chicago on the 31st.
