BLACKPINK members Lisa and Jisoo released new songs on the same day, September 4, but their early performances showed notable differences.
BLACKPINK recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, but rather than focusing heavily on a group album or joint activities, the members have taken different paths, with each placing greater emphasis on their individual careers.
On September 4, BLACKPINK members Jisoo and Lisa both returned to the music scene. Lisa released her new single “SaWaDiKa” at 9 a.m. on September 4 (KST) through online music platforms worldwide. Four hours later, at 1 p.m. KST, Jisoo also released her new song, “Click.” This marked the first time that two BLACKPINK members had released solo music on the same day.
Since pursuing individual activities, Jisoo and Lisa have developed distinct musical identities and gradually established themselves as solo artists. As a result, the performance of their two releases in this “internal competition” has attracted considerable attention.
The two artists have shown different results in YouTube music video views as well as on South Korean and international music charts, highlighting the different audiences and markets where each idol has significant influence.
On YouTube, the “SaWaDiKa” music video has significantly outperformed “Click” in views, once again demonstrating that YouTube remains a major platform where Lisa can showcase the strength of her fandom.

Jisoo’s “Click” reached 1 million views approximately 1 hour and 46 minutes after its release and surpassed 5 million views after nine hours. Meanwhile, Lisa’s “SaWaDiKa” reached 1 million views within its first hour and quickly surpassed 30 million views after 10 hours.
13 hours after its release, Lisa’s music video had exceeded 40 million views, reportedly breaking BTS’s “Swim” record to become the most-viewed music video within its first 24 hours on YouTube in 2026.
At present, the “SaWaDiKa” and “Click” music videos rank No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, on YouTube’s global trending music video chart. “SaWaDiKa” is also ranked No. 1 on YouTube’s overall global trending chart.
Beyond YouTube, Lisa has also surpassed her groupmate on several international music charts. On the U.S. iTunes chart, “Click” is currently ranked No. 15, while “SaWaDiKa” has climbed to No. 4.

However, Jisoo maintains an advantage in the South Korean market. “Click” has entered several major Korean digital music charts, including Melon, Genie, and Bugs.
Although both are members of a K-pop group, Jisoo is South Korean, while Lisa is Thai, giving Jisoo a stronger presence in her home market.
Likewise, Lisa has demonstrated her influence in her native Thailand, where “SaWaDiKa” has taken the No. 1 spot on the country’s iTunes chart.
“Click” serves as the lead single for Jisoo’s upcoming first solo album. Specific details about the album have not yet been announced.
“SaWaDiKa” is also the first track from Lisa’s upcoming EP Press Play, which is scheduled for release on October 23.
