A Korean singer, who gained immense popularity with a song released in 2024, opened up about the difficult times during his unknown days.
The 44th episode of MBN‘s Kim Juha’s Day and Night features singer Hwang Ka Ram.

During the recording, Hwang Ka Ram revealed that he came up to Hongdae, Seoul, with ₩2.00 million KRW (about $1,460 USD) he had saved from part-time jobs, surprising everyone.
He said, “I thought something like in the dramas would happen, someone asking me, ‘Would you like to try music?’” He moved back and forth between Hongdae clubs and busking. However, when all the money he had prepared ran out, he confesses that he lived as a homeless person for 147 days.
In particular, he said, “While sleeping on a bench, I caught lice and ended up shaving off even my eyebrows,” adding, “There were pigeons on the tree above the bench, so I think I got hit by pigeon droppings,” shocking everyone present.
