On May 27, Episode 21 of the content series “Fake Hyo” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Hyo’s Level Up” under the title “That’s a No No? Taking My Part Is the Real No No.”
In the episode, Hyoyeon visited a JYP Entertainment practice room to hold a meeting ahead of a special stage collaboration with ITZY.
While discussing performance parts, a playful disagreement broke out, prompting Hyoyeon to suggest selecting a leader first. She confidently said, “Usually, don’t you decide based on age?” while subtly appealing to her seniority.
However, when Lia responded, “That’s how it was done in the old days,” Hyoyeon jokingly appeared offended and reacted with, “The old days?”
Members Yeji and Chaeryeong then explained JYP Entertainment’s leadership culture, saying, “Ever since JYP started emphasizing truth, sincerity, and humility, things have been done this way,” and “Those are qualities a leader should have.”
After hearing the explanation, Hyoyeon instinctively blurted out, “Why is that even necessary?” causing laughter on set with her brutally honest reaction.
