In the episode of SBS’s Running Man airing on Oct 18th, special guests Yura and Park Cho-rong will appear to shake up Yang Se-chan’s heart.
Yura, who has repeatedly been mentioned in connection with a past rumor that “Yang Se-chan dated a beautiful female idol,” finally addressed the speculation herself. As the other cast members focused their attention on the two, Yura turned to Yang Se-chan and made a cryptic remark: “We dated, but you really can’t tell at all.” Her unexpected bombshell sparked an explosive reaction from the cast, immediately throwing the set into an uproar.
Adding fuel to the romantic tension was Park Cho-rong, whom Yang Se-chan had named as his ideal type when she appeared on Running Man last January. When Park Cho-rong approached him while dancing, Yang Se-chan could barely hide his delighted smile. With the cast teasing him for being caught between Yura, his rumored former girlfriend, and Park Cho-rong, his ideal type, the opening scene reportedly felt more like a dating reality show than a variety program.
The episode will feature a race titled “The Transfer Stick,” in which the contestants are divided into Yura’s team and Park Cho-rong’s team, with repeated choices and team switches adding to the excitement. Before the teams were officially formed, Park Cho-rong boldly flirted with Yang Se-chan, saying, “I came because of you, oppa. You’re going to choose me, right?” Not to be outdone, Yura responded with a meaningful look directed at Yang Se-chan, stepping up her own romantic advances. Receiving affection from both women, Yang Se-chan found himself in a dilemma he could hardly complain about.
Meanwhile, an unexpected victim emerged as Yura and Park Cho-rong repeatedly set their sights on the same cast members. Ji Seok-jin, who was passed over by both women one after another, eventually showed his lingering resentment, joking, “You two, don’t even greet me from now on.” His reaction reportedly added even more laughter to the episode.
