A former K-Pop boy group member who retired from the entertainment industry has become a father.
On July 10th, several photos and a video, along with the caption, “Our beloved sunshine has been safely born. Our Ian, who just came into the world, warm and fresh. I’m so happy that Ian is here with his mom and dad,” were posted on Instagram by former F.T. Island‘s Song Seunghyun.
The released media show Song Seunghyun’s newborn son. After marrying a non-celebrity woman in 2024, Song Seung Hyun has started a new life in New York, USA.
Recently, he has been learning the restaurant business and has ventured into the food industry through a family-run establishment.
As a new father, Song Seung Hyun said, “I’m still a very inexperienced dad, but since mom is doing well, don’t worry too much and grow up healthy and strong, my beautiful son. I love you, my son.”
He also expressed his affection by saying, “To my wife who worked harder than anyone else, thank you and I love you.”
Song Seunghyun debuted as a guitarist of F.T. Island in 2009 but left the band in 2019 to pursue an acting career. He later announced his retirement from the entertainment industry in 2024.
