Recently, TXT’s Soobin was the target of rumors and allegations involving his personal life.
Rumors on Chinese social media alleged that Soobin used a gay dating app to engage in a casual relationship. Photos alleged to be of Soobin and an unidentified man were also spread, including some more graphic ones depicting nudity and sexual acts.
Fans believe the images were deepfakes created with AI to attack the idol’s image.
In addition to attempting to debunk the images, fans have demanded that HYBE take action to address the allegations and rumors. Fanbases have also organized to mass email the company to pressure them into releasing a statement.
