Solo artist Evan is set to open NBA Fan Day 2026 in Macau with a special performance on October 10, bringing his high-energy stage style to one of the NBA’s major global fan events.
According to his agency Belift Lab, Evan will perform at the Venetian Arena in Macau as part of NBA Fan Day 2026 presented by Alibaba Cloud. The event is a key program of NBA China Games 2026 presented by Taobao 88VIP and will bring together basketball stars, artists and fans from around the world, ChosunBiz reported.
Evan will take the opening stage, setting the tone for a festival that combines basketball and entertainment. The event will also feature a preseason matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets, along with fan activities planned for visitors.
The performance gives Evan another chance to connect with an international audience. His appearance comes after a busy run of overseas activities, including performances at the Grammy Museum’s Spotlight series and KCON LA 2026.
He has also been invited to appear at major events in the region, including the 2026 TIMA awards show in Greater China and Korea’s 2026 K-World Dream Awards. These appearances have helped him build a growing identity as a solo artist.
Evan Builds Solo Career With First Mini Album
Evan is also preparing for a major release before the Macau event. According to AllKPop, he will release his first mini album, DEATH OF ME, on September 7. The album will contain eight tracks, including the title song “Death of Me.”
Importantly, Evan is taking an active role behind the scenes. He is leading the overall production of the album, highlighting his work as a singer-songwriter and producer as he develops his solo career.
The upcoming NBA Fan Day performance will therefore arrive at an important point in Evan’s new chapter. Rather than appearing only as a performer, he is expanding his work into music production while continuing to take on large international stages.
Evan, formerly known as Heeseung of ENHYPEN, began his solo career in June 2026 after leaving the group earlier this year. His first solo release was the single “RIDE OR DIE.”
With NBA Fan Day 2026, Evan will step onto another major global stage just weeks after releasing his first mini album.
