Epik High’s Tablo mentiomed a crazy anecdote about the timing of the reveal when he was getting married to Kang Hye Jung.
On October 15th, Epik High’s YouTube channel released a video titled “Is It Okay to Go to a Nail Salon with a Female Friend?”
In the video, Epik High and Davichi visited a nail salon to strengthen their friendship. During various discussions, Kang Minkyung posed the question, “I recently heard from friends and wanted to discuss this: Is it inconsiderate if someone announces a pregnancy during a wedding invitation gathering?” In the course of the conversation, Tablo said he understood the issue.
Tablo shared, “I had everything decided to marry Hye Jung, and I called the members and friends. We sat in a large coffee shop in Gangnam, and Hye Jung and I were about to stand up and say, ‘We’re getting married.’ Honestly, I swear, just as we halfway stood up, Tukutz suddenly jumped up from the opposite side and shouted, ‘We’re getting married!’” which surprised everyone.
What’s even more surprising is that Tukutz was also about to talk about his own marriage and had no idea Tablo was planning the same. Tablo explained, “The funny thing is, he didn’t know I was going to announce my marriage either, and I didn’t expect him to do it.” So, “when Tukutz was talking about his marriage, we didn’t mention ours. We didn’t say anything for a whole week, letting him have all the congratulations,” showing remarkable leadership.
