ENHYPEN has reached the top of the Billboard 200 for the first time, with the group’s eighth mini-album, “The Sin: Bliss,” debuting at No. 1 on the chart dated Sept. 5.
According to Billboard, the EP earned 98,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the tracking week ending Aug. 27, based on data from Luminate. Of that total, 92,000 units came from traditional album sales, meaning “The Sin: Bliss” also debuts atop Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. The remaining units came from streaming activity, equal to roughly 6.9 million on-demand official streams of the album’s songs.
The milestone caps a run of near-misses for the group. ENHYPEN previously peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 twice, with “Romance: Untold” in 2024 and “The Sin: Vanish” in January of this year. “The Sin: Bliss” is the group’s seventh album to reach the chart’s top 10, all since 2022, and the milestone comes six years after the group’s 2020 debut, when its first EP entered at No. 18.
“The Sin: Bliss” is ENHYPEN’s first release since the group reorganized as a six-member act following former member Heeseung’s departure. The 10-track EP is the second installment in the group’s “The Sin” series and centers on two lovers who break a taboo and flee together. It is led by the single “Bloody Paradise,” a Brazilian phonk-inspired track that also became the group’s highest-charting entry yet on Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart.
The EP has also performed strongly overseas, surpassing 2 million copies in cumulative worldwide sales according to Hanteo Chart data, making it ENHYPEN’s fifth album to cross that threshold.
With the No. 1 debut, ENHYPEN joins a list of K-pop acts that have topped the Billboard 200, including BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, ATEEZ and TOMORROW X TOGETHER among boy groups. The release follows a busy stretch for the group, which recently wrapped the Latin American and U.S. leg of its “Blood Saga” world tour, drawing more than 193,000 fans across 12 shows in eight cities, including a sold-out stadium date in São Paulo.
