Actor Lee Jae Ryong was caught drinking more after crashing his car while driving drunk.
According to an exclusive report from MBC, Lee Jae Ryong is currently accussed of fleeing the scene of his drunk driving accident he caused back in March. The destination he went to though, was just revealed to be another restaurant, where he continued to drink more.
MBC obtained the police indictment, where Lee Jae Ryong was charged with fleeing the scene and obstructing the breathalyzer test. The car he was driving crashed into the median barrier of a road in Gangnam, where he caused roughly ₩3.00 million KRW (about $2,210 USD) worth of damage.
Just 20 minutes after his accident, he drove to a restaurant in the Sinsa neighborhood of Seoul to a restaurant where he ordered more soju in an effort to obstruct his breathalyzer test. He was arrested at an acquaintance’s house 2 hours later, initially denying allegations he was drunk driving, but then changed his statement to having drunk 4 glasses of soju and brushing the median.
Lee Jae Ryong had previously been caught for drunk driving in 2003.
