On May 29, the production team of PD Note released a preview video through its official channel titled “PD Note Episode 1509 Preview: MC Mong and the Chairman’s K-Pop Business Secrets.”
The preview featured interviews with entertainment industry insiders discussing ONE HUNDRED Label, which has recently been embroiled in controversy over alleged unpaid artist settlements.
A representative from a concert distribution company claimed, “Artists are suffering from unpaid settlements, so where did all that money go?” Meanwhile, the head of an entertainment security company stated, “There have been rumors circulating within the industry that Chairman Cha Ga Won gave MC Mong tens of billions of won.”

Another interview drew attention when a real estate appraiser alleged that “it appears they are bringing in cash by leveraging the names of Lee Seung Gi and Baekhyun.”
Most notably, viewers were surprised to see ONE HUNDRED Label Chairman Cha Ga Won personally sit down for an interview with the PD Note production team. During the preview, she made the cryptic remark, “If I open my mouth, this entire entertainment industry could be turned upside down,” raising anticipation for the upcoming broadcast.
MC Mong previously addressed the growing controversy through three separate livestreams on his personal social media accounts, where he strongly denied all allegations against him. He revealed that PD Note had requested his response regarding claims involving company operating funds and alleged illegal gambling activities.
“I don’t even understand what it means to say that I used company funds for illegal gambling,” MC Mong said. “Everything can be verified through bank account records.”

He further claimed that his role within the company was limited to producing and creative work and that he had no involvement in its accounting or financial management. MC Mong also questioned the credibility of the individuals believed to have provided information to PD Note, casting doubt on the reliability of the allegations.
During one of his livestreams, MC Mong firmly denied the gambling accusations and attracted attention by directly mentioning the names of individuals connected to the controversy. According to reports, he became aware of the topics being investigated by PD Note and chose to publicly address the allegations before the program aired.
With industry insiders and the public closely watching the situation, PD Note’s investigation into MC Mong and Chairman Cha Ga Won is scheduled to air on June 2.
