Yoo Ji Yoo Rumored to Be Dating DAY6’s Dowoon
The rumors first began in May when online users claimed Dowoon and YouTuber Yoo Ji Yoo were using matching items such as cologne and key rings shown in videos and photos.
Some people also pointed to a dog seen in photos connected to Dowoon’s acquaintances, claiming it matched Yoo Ji Yoo’s pet, Koreaboo reported.
Marriage rumors quickly spread after reports claimed the two had allegedly consulted with a wedding planner. The speculation grew even more after Yoo Ji Yoo was rumored to have attended a limited collaboration event celebrating DAY6’s 10th anniversary.
Despite the growing attention, JYP Entertainment did not confirm or deny the rumors. The agency briefly stated, “We have no particular statement.”
Dowoon later tried to calm fans through social media, where he reassured them that DAY6 would not disband. He also asked fans to ignore harmful posts and apologized for causing pain.
Born in 1995, Dowoon debuted with DAY6 in 2015. The band became widely loved for songs including “You Were Pretty,” “Let It Be a Page,” and “Welcome to the Show.”
