BTS member V is once again making waves online after sharing a short but eye-catching dance performance filmed in Paris.
The 28-second TikTok video quickly became a global hit, collecting 9.7 million views within just 21 hours while BTS prepared to perform at Stade de France for the final European stops of their “ARIRANG” world tour.
According to AllKPop, on July 16 KST, V uploaded the clip to his personal TikTok account, @tete, with the simple caption, “Lights off!” He also tagged dancer and video creator Dyson Campbell along with six members of the production team who helped create the performance.
The video features V dancing with performers dressed in matching white outfits. Together, they deliver clean choreography filled with smooth spins, controlled footwork, and perfectly timed movements.
Combined with polished camera work and stylish editing, the performance resembles a professionally produced hip-hop music video despite its brief runtime.
Fans immediately responded to the upload. Within 21 hours, the clip had reached 9.7 million views, earned 4.8 million likes, received about 97,000 comments, and was shared more than 323,000 times, showing the singer’s continued influence across social media.
BTS’ V Trends With Viral Paris TikTok
The surprise appearance of fellow BTS member Jungkook in the comments added even more excitement. He jokingly asked, “When did you film this? LOL,” prompting enthusiastic reactions from fans, KTrenz reported.
His playful message quickly attracted hundreds of thousands of likes as ARMY enjoyed seeing the members interact online.
Many fans praised V’s dancing, pointing to his precise movements and strong stage presence. Others highlighted the choreography, the backup dancers, and the video’s cinematic editing.
Across X, formerly known as Twitter, supporters celebrated the return of “TikToker Taehyung,” while many described the performance as one of his most stylish dance uploads yet.
The excitement spread beyond Korea. Fans from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Iran, and many other countries filled the TikTok comment section with messages of admiration. Several also expressed hopes that V would one day visit their countries, reflecting the worldwide support he continues to receive.
The viral upload came only 10 days after another major milestone for the BTS star. On July 6, V became the first male K-pop idol to surpass 75 million followers on TikTok. He is also the sixth male musician across all genres worldwide to reach that number, further highlighting his growing global digital presence.
The timing of the video also caught fans’ attention. Filmed in Paris, the dance clip arrived just before BTS took the stage at Stade de France on July 17 and 18.
