BLACKPINK member Jisoo mourned Mathilde Favier, Dior‘s Director of Public Relations, who suddenly passed away.
On August 18th, Jisoo posted on her social media, “Dear Mathilde, it’s hard to find the words to say goodbye.”
She added, “From the very beginning of my journey with Dior, you welcomed me with such warmth and kindness. Over the years, we shared so many special moments, and I will always be grateful for the care, love, and support you showed me along the way.”
Jisoo expressed her sorrow, saying, “You made Paris feel like another home to me. I will always treasure the birthdays we celebrated, the time our families spent together, and all the precious memories we shared there. I was looking forward to seeing you again in Paris and celebrating together, which makes this goodbye even harder.”

She continued, “You were such a beautiful person, inside and out, and I feel incredibly lucky to have known you and to have had you as such a special part of my life.”
Finally, Jisoo concluded, “My heart goes out to your family and to everyone who knew and loved you. I will miss you deeply and carry our memories with me always. Rest in peace, Mathilde. You will never be forgotten.”

Mathilde was an influential figure in the fashion industry and was affectionately called “Jisoo’s Paris mom” for her attentive care whenever Jisoo attended Dior fashion shows and events. Jisoo’s tribute has brought renewed attention to their special bond.

According to local media reports, Mathilde Favier passed away at the age of 57 due to a traffic accident in western France.
