Fashion designer Kwon Da Mi, the older sister of BIGBANG member G-Dragon, has announced that she and her husband, actor Kim Min Jun, are expecting their second child.
The couple shared that they are preparing to welcome a baby girl in October, making G-Dragon an uncle to both a nephew and a niece.
On July 9, Kwon Da Mi revealed the happy news through her social media account by posting an ultrasound photo. She introduced the baby as “Eden’s younger sibling, Samdeunie,” and shared that her son had always hoped for a little sister.
“Our baby came to us thankfully after Eden wished for a younger sister,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude for the growing family, Zapzee reported. She also revealed their daughter’s name, Kim Yi Woo, while joking about becoming “a girl mom.”
Looking forward to the baby’s arrival, she added, “Let’s all stay healthy and meet in October.” On the ultrasound image, she affectionately wrote, “Show us your full face in two weeks, Yi Woo.”
Kwon Da Mi and Kim Min Jun married in October 2019 and welcomed their first child, Eden, in 2022. Their second child will complete a family with both a son and a daughter. The announcement also marks another joyful milestone for G-Dragon, who has often been recognized for his close relationship with his nephew.

G-Dragon’s Gift to Nephew Eden Wins Hearts
Earlier this year, Kim Min Jun shared a story about G-Dragon during an appearance on TV Chosun’s “Baekban Journey With Heo Young Man.”
According to AllKPop, he revealed that the singer gifted Eden a miniature electric car that had been used as a prop in one of his music videos.
“My son received one of the cars as a gift from his uncle. I posted a photo of it, and everyone recognized it as the car from the music video. It even made the news,” Kim recalled.
During the same program, Kim Min Jun also spoke warmly about his family life. He laughed while sharing that he once imagined giving spending money to a younger brother-in-law before military service, only to realize that moment never came with G-Dragon. He admitted that becoming G-Dragon’s brother-in-law felt a little intimidating at times but shared the story with humor.
Kim also reflected on his relationship with Kwon Da Mi, saying they decided to marry after dating for four months. He explained that seeing her as a caring mother made him admire her even more.
