Big Bang will celebrate their 20th anniversary with a special free fan event in Seoul this August.
The group will hold the “Big Bang 20th Anniversary x Han River Collaboration” on August 19 at the Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park, allowing fans to celebrate two decades of the group’s music and achievements.
Coupang Play announced the event on July 22, revealing that the celebration will take place just before Big Bang’s upcoming “XX: COSMOS” world tour concerts.
The group is scheduled to perform at Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province from August 21 to 23, AllKPop reported.
The anniversary event will offer fans a special experience through different forms of entertainment. It will include DJ performances featuring new arrangements of Big Bang’s popular songs, media art installations, and a drone show. The program is designed to highlight the group’s 20-year musical journey through both sound and visuals.

Admission to the event will be free, but tickets will be limited. Reservations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis only for Coupang WOW members through the Coupang Play mobile app. Ticket registration will begin on July 28 at 7 PM KST.
The celebration will also serve as a meaningful gathering for fans who have followed Big Bang since their debut in 2006.
According to YB, the group has played a major role in the growth of K-pop worldwide, releasing many well-known songs such as “Lie,” “Last Farewell,” and “Bang Bang Bang.”
Over the years, Big Bang has built a strong global fanbase with their unique music style, powerful stage performances, and influence on younger generations of artists. The 20th anniversary event will look back on the group’s long career while creating new memories with fans.
Following the Seoul celebration, Big Bang will begin their “XX: COSMOS” world tour with their Goyang concerts. The tour will continue with performances in international cities including Auckland, Paris, London, Taipei, Singapore, and Sydney.
The members also recently gained attention after reuniting for a special performance at Coachella 2026, where fans celebrated seeing G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung together again.
