BTS‘s V and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie have been the subject of dating rumors for years. The rumors, which took off in 2021, quieted down during V’s military service. Recently, netizens have presented new “evidence” that the alleged couple, who reportedly broke up in 2023, are currently dating.
1. Gym Selfies
Back in January, Jennie took to her personal Instagram account to share updates on her recent whereabouts in Japan. She included a full-body mirror selfie taken at a gym in her post.
The picture reminded some fans of V’s gym selfie, shared in 2025.
As more people became convinced the two gym selfies were taken in the exact same spot, others stepped in with counterarguments. Fans noted that the photos were clearly taken on entirely different dates, while also pointing out that the Tokyo hotel housing the gym is a well-known celebrity hotspot frequented by many public figures.
2. Styling
In April, Jennie appeared in a video with her friend WOODZ. During the video, they picked outfits for each other, and Jennie chose three “boyfriend” styles for WOODZ.
Some netizens claimed that Jennie’s picks were similar to V’s personal fashion style.
3. Concert Outfits
In a video going viral with over 1 million views, the OP claimed that V’s graffiti pants worn during a concert had been edited to include a mole, in a position similar to Jennie’s.

4. Couple Outfits
Most recently, a viral TikTok pointed out that V and Jennie have allegedly worn matching “couple outfits”. In 2025, Jennie wore a striped shirt and a brown cardiagan, with dark brown pants…
…and V was recently spotted wearing a similar outfit during BTS’s world tour.
