Japanese actor and comedian Tetsuya Honma has become embroiled in a cheating scandal after alleged intimate photos with another woman surfaced online shortly before his upcoming wedding.
At the beginning of May, rumors spread throughout the Japanese entertainment industry claiming that Tetsuya Honma had been involved in an affair with a married woman. Shortly afterward, a series of private photos of the actor with the woman, along with sexually explicit text messages allegedly exchanged between them, began circulating online.
According to a source cited by Yahoo Japan, the leaked materials were reportedly provided by the woman’s husband.
Another insider claimed that between late 2023 and early 2024, Honma secretly maintained the relationship despite already having a girlfriend at the time. The source also alleged that he frequently invited the woman to his home in Koenji.
As of now, neither Tetsuya Honma nor his agency has publicly addressed the allegations.
Tetsuya Honma, now 43 years old, built a strong reputation through comedy skits and gained wider recognition for his success on the comedy competition program King of Comedy.
At the end of April, the entertainer revealed through his personal social media account that he was preparing for marriage. He shared that his fiancée is a 30-year-old office worker and said the two have compatible personalities.
