Activity outside HYBE regarding ENHYPEN amid EVAN‘s (Heeseung) solo debut has sparked major controversy.
On June 22, EVAN had his solo debut and was praised by netizens.

Ahead of the official debut time, netizens noticed trucks outside HYBE and it was revealed that groups who wanted ENHYPEN as “Seven” had sent protests outside of HYBE.

It mainly sparked controversy as netizens hit back at the “selfish” antics of fans claiming they cared for OT7, but found a way to try and take away from EVAN’s solo debut. They also added that EVAN left ENHYPEN and wasn’t coming back, so this was a waste of money and resources which could be put into supporting both the group and EVAN as a soloist.
