On November 4, Song Hye-kyo shared several photos taken in Hong Kong on her social media. One black-and-white photo, in particular, showed her holding her long hair with both hands and stretching it out to either side, striking a surprising pose that resembled a lion’s mane.
In the photo, Song Hye-kyo wore a gray knit top, with her glasses hanging around her neck, and smiled at the camera. Her hair fanned out dramatically on both sides, while her mischievous expression gave her a completely different vibe from her usual elegant image.
Other photos also captured the pair enjoying a relaxed time together. In one shot, she posed with a V sign beside Lee Il-jung while keeping her eyes closed. In another, she rested her chin on one hand and looked directly at the camera. Teacups, glasses and a teapot on the table added to the casual atmosphere of their meal.
Song Hye-kyo and Lee Il-jung’s close friendship had previously been showcased in Paris, France, last September. At the time, she shared a black-and-white photo of the two together, wearing sunglasses and resting her chin on his shoulder. She also tagged his social media account and added a heart emoji.
Their relaxed interactions continued during their latest outing in Hong Kong. Lee Il-jung posted photos on his social media with the caption, “A little taste of Hong Kong with Song Hye-kyo.” He also shared a photo of the actress, writing, “So pretty.”
Song Hye-kyo likewise tagged Lee Il-jung in her own post, adding, “Since you said you liked the photos.” She then shared another picture with the short, playful caption, “This one too~”
