Yumepirika, a 20-year-old idol, publicly apologized after admitting that she had been communicating privately with a fan. The controversy quickly became a hot topic on social media and ultimately led to a strict ultimatum from the management agency of her group, Aisunattsu: permanently cut off contact with the fan or give up her idol career.
On October 24, Yumepirika addressed the incident in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), after screenshots allegedly showing her private messages began circulating online. The following day, the group’s management agency confirmed that some of the allegations were accurate, explaining that members were strictly prohibited from engaging in private interactions with fans.
Yumepirika Apologizes After Private Communication With Fan
In her public apology, Yumepirika admitted that she had violated the agency’s rules and accepted responsibility for her actions.
The singer said she had joined Aisunattsu with the intention of dedicating herself fully to her idol career. However, she acknowledged that her behavior had caused trouble for the management agency, her fellow group members, and fans.
After discussing the situation with the agency, she was given two options: leave the company or permanently cut off contact with the fan involved. Yumepirika chose to continue her career. She stated that she had ended the relationship, deleted the person’s contact information, and stopped all forms of communication.
Agency Requires Her to Livestream Every Night Until the End of 2026

However, the apology did not bring the controversy to an end. As part of an effort to regain public trust, Aisunattsu’s management agency ordered Yumepirika to livestream every night until the end of 2026. The broadcasts began on October 25, with the agency presenting the measure as a way to rebuild fans’ confidence following the scandal.
Another notable development is that the agency has threatened legal action against the person responsible for leaking the private conversations without authorization. According to the management, making the messages public violated the privacy rights of those involved.
The agency also clarified that not all of the leaked messages were conversations between Yumepirika and a fan. Some LINE messages were actually work-related exchanges between the idol and the company’s president.
Yumepirika joined Aisunattsu in 2025. The five-member group originally debuted in June 2023.
