A celebrity known as the “Han River IU” and her fellow star husband are set to become parents, earning many congratulations from netizens.
According to agency TN Entertainment on October 10th, Nam Chang Hee’s wife, Yoon Young Kyung, is currently 23 weeks pregnant. Nam Chang Hee is said to be carefully taking care of her health and wholeheartedly dedicating himself to prenatal education while managing his schedule, showing his role as a reliable soon-to-be father.
Nam Chang Hee also shared the news of his wife’s pregnancy with listeners on KBS Cool FM’s radio show where he works as a DJ, receiving warm congratulations.
Nam Chang Hee and Yoon Young Kyung got married on February 22 at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul, following about four and a half years of dating. At that time, he conveyed his thoughts on the wedding through the radio, saying, “With your quiet support all this time, I am happy to announce that I’m sealing my relationship with the person I have been seeing. We promised to walk one path together.”
Meanwhile, Yoon Young Kyung won second place at the 83rd National Chunhyang Beauty Contest in 2013 and appeared on MBC’s Infinite Challenge in 2014, where she was dubbed the “Han River IU” for her resemblance to singer IU.
Later, Yoon Young Kyung worked as an actress, appearing in the film Ode to My Father, as well as dramas such as My Horrible Boss and Hwa Jung, the Princess of Light.
