In a recent video on the YouTube channel Babee Han Chae Young, the actress visited one of her favorite restaurants specializing in daechang, or grilled beef large intestine, and chatted with the production team. While discussing plans to film in Seongsu-dong, Han Chae Young revealed that she prefers shopping online. “If I don’t like something, it’s easy to return it,” she said, prompting her manager to bring up luxury goods.
Han Chae Young immediately protested, saying, “I don’t really buy luxury goods. I used to shop a lot when I was younger, but now that I’ve experienced it all, I’ve realized that the excitement doesn’t last very long.” However, viewers were amused when a luxury passport holder and luxury wallet were spotted inside her designer bag. During the conversation, Han Chae Young also talked about the home where she currently lives in Gapyeong.
“Delivery to my house costs 10,000 won, no matter what I order,” she explained. “There’s an additional delivery fee of 6,000 won, and I have to transfer that separately.” When a member of the production team asked, “Are there any convenience stores?” Han Chae Young immediately replied with a serious expression, “Are you looking down on Gapyeong right now?” drawing laughter.
She continued, “When I first moved there, if we ordered dakbokkeumtang, they would bring it over by boat from the other side. We would then go out to the dock in front to pick it up. It was like that because there wasn’t much around when I first moved there, but now there are tons of convenience stores, Starbucks, Baskin-Robbins—basically everything you need.”
Meanwhile, Han Chae Young previously became the subject of plastic surgery speculation following her first TikTok livestream in May, when viewers noticed heavier-than-usual eyeliner and what some perceived as changes to her appearance. The speculation resurfaced after subsequent videos and photos led some netizens to claim that her facial contours, nose bridge, and cheeks looked different. Han Chae Young has not been established in the source as having undergone any cosmetic procedure.
