A beloved Korean actress shared her thoughts on marriage and the support from her husband.
On the morning of September 30th, a press conference for The Ballad of Us 2 was held at SBS in Seoul. The Ballad Of Us 2 is a music audition program that shares life ballads that have been with us through every moment in our memories and seeks voices to newly sing the ballads that were once “my songs.”
During the press conference, Moon Geun Young spoke about her marriage, saying, “We quietly had the ceremony, but many people congratulated and supported us, which made me realize that I am loved a lot and that I am a precious person to many. I am very grateful and feel that I should live better.”
Previously, Moon Geun Young was belatedly revealed to have gotten married to actor Jeong Pyeong, in a ceremony that even her friends didn’t know about.

Regarding joining as a fixed panelist on the show, she explained, “I really enjoyed watching season 1. I often thought I wanted to sit and listen, and when the offer came, I accepted it without hesitation.”
When asked if her husband supported her appearance as a fixed panelist for the first time in seven years, she shyly added, “There wasn’t any particular encouragement, but he said, ‘Listen well and just do as you always do.’”
The Ballad of Us 2 will premiere on October 5 at 10 p.m.
