Go So Young visited the folk village dressed in a striking black hanbok. She said, “I came to a folk village when I was young. I think it was when I was in middle school or high school. I heard that things have changed a lot these days. With the holiday coming up soon, I wanted to come and see how different it is now.”
However, Go So Young revealed that she has never appeared in a historical drama. Explaining why she previously turned down such projects, she said, “When I was younger, I received a lot of offers, but I wasn’t confident. I wondered whether the traditional pulled-back hairstyle would suit me. I thought I didn’t look good in hanbok.”

They argued that her appearance did not have the natural look they expected from a historical drama.
On September 22, Nana addressed the controversy through a fan communication platform. She said, “If my lips made viewers uncomfortable, then that’s my fault. I think a personal choice I made may not have been the right choice for me as an actress.” She continued, “I think it must hurt the fans who love me to see all the negative comments about me, and that makes me feel even more sorry. I’ll work harder so that, from now on, we can hear more positive things together.”
