Dok2 Kneels to Serenade Lee Hi on Stage, Reigniting Marriage Speculation
Dok2 got down on one knee and serenaded Lee Hi during a concert in Mongolia, reigniting speculation about whether the couple could be heading toward marriage.
The two took the stage together at Super Concert: Special, held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on September 19. The concert also featured Korean artists including PSY, Baek Ji Young, and Bizzy alongside local performers.
During the performance, Dok2 introduced Lee Hi as “My Lady.” He also held her hand and, at one point, dropped to one knee while serenading her, immediately reminding viewers of a proposal.
Interest in the couple’s relationship had already grown after Lee Hi was reportedly spotted attending a gathering with Dok2’s family. Speculation intensified when fellow rapper Sleepy left a comment saying, “Let’s get married,” leading some fans to wonder whether the couple could be preparing to tie the knot. However, the claims remain speculation, as neither Dok2 nor Lee Hi has made any announcement regarding marriage.
The two are said to have first become acquainted through music around 2014 before beginning a romantic relationship in 2022. They later shared photos together on social media, publicly confirming their relationship, with Lee Hi affectionately referring to Dok2 as “my one and only Dok2.”
Dok2 previously appeared on the channel HOME ROOM SHOW, where he revealed that he had been a fan of Lee Hi’s music since the early days of her career. “I had wanted to work on music with her for a long time,” he said. He also spoke seriously about their relationship while reflecting on their ages and current stage of life. “I’m 36 now, and Lee Hi is 29. I didn’t think we were at an age where we could start a casual young romance,” Dok2 said.
