Park Bo Gum Picks Kim Yoo Jung as Most Likely to Marry First as “Love in the Moonlight” Cast Reunites After 10 Years
Park Bo Gum picks Kim Yoo Jung as the Love in the Moonlight star most likely to marry first as the cast reunites after 10 years and recreates nostalgic moments.
On the September 16 broadcast of KBS2’s Love in the Moonlight: Redrawn, Park Bo Gum, Kim Yoo Jung, Jinyoung, Chae Soo Bin, and Kwak Dong Yeon embarked on a two-day, one-night trip together. Reuniting a decade after Love in the Moonlight ended, the five cast members traveled to Hongcheon, Gangwon Province.
While on the road, the group stopped at a restaurant for lunch. As they waited for their food, Park Bo Gum asked, “During the interview, were you asked who you think will get married first?” The other four cast members appeared confused, saying they had never been asked the question.

When Kim Yoo Jung asked how he had answered, Park Bo Gum revealed that he had chosen her as his No. 1 pick. Surprised, Kim Yoo Jung responded, “I’m the youngest. Why did you choose me?” The other cast members were equally taken aback by his unexpected answer. Park Bo Gum explained, “I thought Yoo Jung would be the first to meet a good person and happily get married.”
Kim Yoo Jung then asked who he thought would be the last to marry. Park Bo Gum stared silently at Jinyoung, the oldest member of the group, prompting laughter from everyone before eventually answering, “I don’t think there’s anyone in particular who seems likely to get married late.”

The reunion also brought back memories of Park Bo Gum’s beloved character, Crown Prince Lee Young. On September 16, Kim Yoo Jung shared several photos on social media featuring herself with Park Bo Gum, Jinyoung, Chae Soo Bin, and Kwak Dong Yeon as the five stars reunited for the drama’s 10th anniversary.
Park Bo Gum attracted particular attention after dressing once again in the traditional royal attire and headwear reminiscent of his appearance as Crown Prince Lee Young in Love in the Moonlight. Sitting alongside his former co-stars in full costume, the actor even held out his phone and personally took selfies with the group, creating a nostalgic scene for fans of the drama.

During the same episode of Love in the Moonlight: Redrawn, the cast also discovered an unexpected number that illustrated just how much had changed over the past decade. While eating corn, Jinyoung revealed that he currently weighs 66 kilograms. Park Bo Gum asked about his weight before complimenting him, saying, “You’ve really taken good care of yourself.”
Park Bo Gum then revealed, “When I was filming Love in the Moonlight, I weighed 65 kilograms.” Discussing his current weight, he initially joked, “These days, it keeps going up—73 kilograms, 74 kilograms, 75 kilograms,” before finally admitting, “Actually, I’m 76 kilograms right now.”

Park Bo Gum therefore weighs 11 kilograms more than he did a decade ago when he played Crown Prince Lee Young. Yet after putting on the royal costume again for the reunion, the actor immediately brought back memories of the character that captured viewers’ hearts 10 years ago.
