A member of a popular boy group is facing consequences over his alleged actions.
In mid-September, a netizen claimed that she and OZONE member Huang Wenting had been dating for approximately four years and had kept their relationship private because of his career. According to her account, she claimed that the idol told people he was single, and that he had an affair with a co-star on a project.
After the accusations surfaced, Huang Wenting shared a letter on his social media account, in which he admitted to not sharing his relationship and hurting his ex-girlfriend. He also said that, in addition to already contracted appearances, he would suspend all of his activities.
After the allegations, it was assumed that the actress involved in the situation was Lin Tingli, the female lead of the film My Superhero and former member of AKB48 Team TP. Huang and Lin recently wrapped up filming of My Superhero in August 2026.
Lin’s agency has since responded to the allegations, stating that she met Huang through work and that the two developed feelings for each other through normal interactions. According to her agency, Huang had told Lin that he was single at the time and that she immediately stopped having private one-on-one contact with Huang after learning about his actual relationship status.
