Recently, on Chinese social media, rumors alleged that a popular star suffered a blockage after getting hyaluronic acid injected into his penis. This procedure is used to increase the girth of the organ, and gradually fade away naturally. However, if the procedure is done incorrectly, blockages can happen, resulting in necrosis requiring surgical removal or even death.
The rumors were alleged to be about Dylan Wang, who rose to fame with his debut role in Meteor Garden. The phrase “Exposing Wang He Di having injected hyaluronic acid in his genitals, causing blockage” topped Weibo search trends.
The source of the rumors appeared to be group chats that claimed to offer the star’s medical information for free. A video allegedly showing the procedure was included in these rumors.
