A famous Korean star expressed his bewilderment at a sudden message insulting his appearance.
On September 6th, a screenshot of a direct message (DM) was posted along with the caption, “Why is there a frenzy of face ratings on a Sunday afternoon? I like my face. #NoFaceRatings,” by Jang Sung Kyu.
The revealed DM contained blunt criticism, saying, “You’re that announcer with the strange smile, right? As they say, your face isn’t pretty or handsome. Please stop working.” This caused a frown.
It also included comments like, “You’ve definitely given up, right? You’re that announcer with the ugly face and weird smile from the internet captures.”
Taken aback by the sudden appearance insult, Jang Sung Kyu replied, “What kind of situation is this?” showing his confusion.
