On September 2, Yuri shared several photos and videos taken ahead of the end of her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, expressing her bittersweet feelings about saying goodbye.
Among the photos were gifts prepared for Yuri by SM Entertainment. One detail that particularly caught attention was a message from Yuri that read, “Thank you for raising me for 24 years. I hope everyone is happy. I love you, SM,” alongside the words, “Goodbye, everyone.”
Yuri also shared a youthful photo from what appeared to be her trainee days. She wrote, “I joined the company as a trainee in 2001, and somehow 25 years have already passed. Thank you for raising me, caring for me, and loving me, Yuri,” expressing her gratitude toward SM Entertainment after spending so many years with the agency.

She continued, “We’ll be together again, so let’s meet again with smiles. I love you, SM. Goodbye,” conveying her sadness over their farewell.
Yuri ultimately broke down in tears as she exchanged her final goodbyes. In the released photos, she can be seen with reddened eyes, wiping away tears with a tissue. She also added the words, “I loved you,” offering a glimpse into the complicated emotions she felt while leaving an agency that had been such a significant part of her life for so long.
Meanwhile, Yuri debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007 and spent many years with SM Entertainment before announcing the end of her exclusive contract on August 31.
