Haerin is scheduled to attend the official photocall event for Christian Dior Beauty’s “Rouge Dior On Stage” pop-up at Lotte Department Store Jamsil Avenuel in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on September 7.
The event is also expected to be attended by Kim Yuna, Nam Joo Hyuk, Red Velvet’s Joy, Shin Ye Eun, Kim Jae Won, and models Irene and Bae Yoon Young, among others.
The schedule is drawing attention because it marks Haerin’s first appearance at an official offline event after recently resuming activities with a fashion magazine shoot.

Haerin recently graced the cover of the September issue of fashion magazine Marie Claire. It was her first magazine cover shoot in approximately a year and six months, following her previous appearance in February last year, and also marked her first individual activity since returning after the exclusive contract dispute with ADOR. In a video released alongside the photoshoot, Haerin greeted fans by saying, “It’s been a while since I met Marie Claire again, and I shot the September issue.”
With the photocall following closely after her magazine appearance, Haerin appears to be the first of the returning members to resume more active public engagements. This has naturally raised questions about whether her individual activities could eventually lead to NewJeans resuming group promotions.

NewJeans had been embroiled in a dispute with ADOR over their exclusive contracts, but the return of Haerin and Hyein in November last year, followed by Hanni in December, laid the groundwork for the group to resume activities. Minji is currently continuing discussions regarding her return.
In particular, all four members Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein appeared together in a special film released last month to mark NewJeans’ fourth debut anniversary, drawing significant attention from global fans. Speculation also grew that the members might be preparing new content or working on music after Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni were spotted overseas.

However, the exact timing and format of NewJeans’ comeback remain unclear. ADOR has also maintained a cautious stance, stating that it will provide an update once specific plans and arrangements for the group’s music activities have been finalized.
Against this backdrop, Haerin’s expanding schedule from magazine shoots to official events is once again putting NewJeans’ future activities in the spotlight. Fans are closely watching to see whether her individual promotions will eventually lead to the group’s full-scale return.
Meanwhile, Danielle, who was removed from NewJeans, continues to be involved in a legal dispute with ADOR regarding the termination of her contract and related matters.
