According to Koreaboo, the original poster used the video to criticize V’s actions and personality. The post triggered hostile comments aimed at the singer, including personal attacks over his perceived behavior during the concert.
Other fans pushed back by sharing a longer version of the footage. They said the fuller clip offered a different context and accused some solo fans of selectively presenting the moment to provoke criticism of V. The available footage does not establish his intentions or verify the claims made against him.
Not to join the hate, but he might genuinely have some issues. This isn’t even the first clip I’ve seen of him acting like this, there’s a disturbingly large amount of it. https://t.co/1r0X2SYpXk

The backlash has unfolded while V has been speaking publicly about the pressures and privacy concerns surrounding the tour. The Straits Times reported on July 2 that V asked fans on Weverse not to visit the hotels where BTS members were staying.
V reportedly thanked fans for their support but said he did not want his accommodation details revealed. He warned that hotel visits could affect his performances and asked fans to respect his personal space. He also shared a sleep-tracking screenshot showing that he had slept for only 2½ hours.
The singer said that walking through the cities on the tour and visiting local restaurants were meaningful parts of his travel experience. He asked fans not to disrupt those private moments by tracking him to his hotel.
V later discussed another personal challenge during a Weverse livestream, according to CNA Lifestyle. In a report published on August 14, the outlet reported that V revealed that he had experienced poor hearing for about two and a half years and had received medication and hospital treatment.
V reportedly said the hearing in his left ear was at about 100, while his right ear was at about 30. He did not explain the cause of the problem.
During the same livestream, Jungkook said he was dealing with inflammation and possible early bone damage in his shin. He said he had not developed a stress fracture but was taking precautions to finish the tour.
The ARIRANG tour is scheduled to continue through Asia, including Singapore in December, before concluding in the Philippines in March 2027.
