A popular Korean actor revealed the things that he did during his military service, surprising viewers.
On August 21, tvN‘s You Quiz on the Block released a preview featuring Song Kang, who was discharged from the military last October.
Song Kang said, “I wanted to minimize my downtime in the military, so I used a face mask every day and read 40 books.”
He added, “I read a book called Lifespan: Why We Age – and Why We Don’t Have To, but it was difficult, so it took me 3 to 4 months to finish.”
He also explained, “I also read a book called A Man Who Cooks is Invincible. It said that if you are good at cooking, you are meticulous no matter what job you do.”
He joked, “I spent over ₩1.00 million KRW (about $718 USD) on a knife, bought six cutting boards and eight pots, but I never actually got to cook.“
