She blasted him on social media.
Former APRIL member Yoon Chaekyung has sparked concern after sharing cryptic posts about being betrayed by the person she trusted most, shortly after reposting a message about cheating.
On August 17, Chaekyung held a Q&A with fans on social media, where one fan asked how she had been doing recently. Her response immediately attracted attention.

“I was completely stabbed in the back and betrayed by the person I trusted most in the world, so I still haven’t been able to get over it. It’s hard to believe someone like that actually exists in this world, but I have to accept it. Every single thing that comes out of their mouth is a lie, and I’m just amazed by the kind of character it takes to not even say sorry. Someday, it’ll all come back to them. Let’s become even happier.”
When a fan comforted her by saying that even a minute or second spent being upset over a “bad guy” was a waste, Chaekyung responded positively.

“Lucky Vicky that I found out now, at least.”
She previously reposted a statement warning against taking back someone who has cheated.

“You should never take back someone who cheats. It’s not that they’ll stop cheating, their skills at not getting caught cheating will just get better.”
The consecutive posts have led to speculation that Chaekyung may have recently discovered infidelity in a relationship, although she never explicitly identified who betrayed her or confirmed that the posts were referring to the same person.
The situation has also attracted attention due to Chaekyung’s previous dating rumors.
In November 2025, she was linked to former national badminton player Lee Yong Dae. At the time, Chaekyung’s representatives responded that it was “difficult to confirm as it concerns her private life,” and the two were never officially confirmed to be dating.
Chaekyung debuted in the idol industry in 2012 and later gained wider recognition through Produce 101 before joining APRIL. Following the group’s disbandment, she transitioned into acting.
