According to the entertainment industry on August 17, actor Lee Yi-kyung will hold his solo fan event, “2026 LEE YIKYUNG SHOW,” at Hitotsubashi Hall at the Japan Education Center in Tokyo on October 25.
The event is personally planned in part by Lee Yi-kyung and will feature a variety of content designed for his fans. VIP ticket holders will receive opportunities to participate in a high-touch event, group photo session, and receive commemorative merchandise. General ticket holders will also have the opportunity to participate in a farewell event after the show.
In a video recently shared through the social media account of a local Japanese event organizer, Lee Yi-kyung greeted fans in Japanese and announced his return with the Lee Yi-kyung Show. “I’m coming to see you all again with the ‘Lee Yi-kyung Show’ after one year,” he said.
He continued, “I’ve been working hard to prepare a time when we can laugh and have fun together. I’ll work even harder so that you can think, ‘As expected, the Lee Yi-kyung Show is fun.’ So, please make sure to see me on October 25.” The upcoming event comes roughly one year after his previous Lee Yi-kyung Show in Japan.
Lee Yi-kyung’s domestic television activities have significantly decreased since allegations concerning his private life surfaced in November last year. Following the controversy, the actor stepped down from programs including MBC’s popular variety show “Hangout With Yoo”, effectively putting his domestic broadcast activities on hold.

Instead, he has gradually expanded his career overseas. In December last year, Lee Yi-kyung announced that he would appear in TBS’s Japanese drama Dream Stage. More recently, in July, he appeared in the Korea-Vietnamese co-production film Me Oi, Ve Nha, whose title translates to “Mom, Come Home.”
Lee Yi-kyung faced another controversy in May after reports revealed that he had been subject to a non-regular tax investigation by the National Tax Service and had been ordered to pay additional taxes. His agency explained that the matter stemmed from differences between the company and tax authorities over the interpretation of tax laws concerning expense processing during the operation of his corporation. His side emphasized that there had been no intentional omission of income or fraudulent tax evasion.
Despite the controversies surrounding his domestic activities, Lee Yi-kyung continues to pursue opportunities abroad, with his upcoming Tokyo fan event marking another step in his overseas career.
