At the awards ceremony, held on July 31 at Paradise City in Incheon, Kim Go Eun was announced as the Daesang winner. While Kim Go Eun sat with her eyes closed, overwhelmed with emotion, the camera also caught Lee Sang Yi in the background wearing an expression of complete shock, his mouth wide open.
Lee Sang Yi and Kim Go Eun attended the Korea National University of Arts together and have long been known as close friends in the entertainment industry.
