South Korean actor and singer Park Ji Hoon will no longer hold his scheduled fan concert in Manila after his agency announced that the event has been moved to Macau because of unforeseen circumstances.
On July 7, YY Entertainment shared the update through Park Ji Hoon’s official b.stage fan community. The agency confirmed that the Manila stop of the 2026 PARK JI HOON ASIA FANCON [RE], originally planned for August 8, has been relocated to Macau.
In its statement, the agency thanked fans for supporting Park Ji Hoon throughout his Asia tour before explaining the change.
“We sincerely apologize to the fans who have been waiting for the Manila performance, and we kindly ask for your generous understanding,” the agency said.
The concert will now take place on August 8 at 6 p.m. at The Grand Hall, Grand Lisboa Palace Resort in Macau, PhilStar reported.
YY Entertainment added that ticketing details and additional guidelines will be announced at a later date. The agency also assured fans that it remains committed to giving concertgoers a memorable experience.
“We will do our absolute best to ensure the artist can showcase a wonderful performance,” the statement added.
Park Ji Hoon’s Philippines Return Delayed
The announcement disappointed many Filipino fans who had been looking forward to seeing Park Ji Hoon return to the country.
The Manila event was expected to be part of his ongoing RE Asia fan concert tour, which has already attracted strong support across several cities.
According to AllKPop, before the schedule change, Park Ji Hoon successfully completed performances in Tokyo, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Taipei. His remaining tour schedule now includes Bangkok, Singapore, Macau, and Jakarta.
The canceled Manila show also marks the second time this year that one of Park Ji Hoon’s appearances in the Philippines has been called off. His brand-sponsored event in Manila, originally planned for March, was also canceled.
Despite the setback, Filipino fans still remember his last visit to the country in 2023, when he attended the Korea Travel Fiesta. Many had hoped the RE fan concert would give them another chance to meet the actor and performer in person.
Park Ji Hoon first gained wide recognition after competing on “Produce 101 Season 2” and later debuted with the project group Wanna One before building a successful solo music career. He has also earned praise for his acting, starring in popular dramas such as “Weak Hero” and “The Legend of the Kitchen Soldier.”
