On the February 17 broadcast of SBS’s “Whenever Possible”, Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Yeon Seok were joined by guests Jung Sang Hoon and Ji Ye Eun for a candid Lunar New Year-themed chat.

During the episode, Yoo Yeon Seok sighed when asked about his holiday plans, saying, “There are a lot of things I’ll probably hear when I go.” Yoo Jae Suk sympathized, commenting, “You’re at that exact tiring stage in life.”
Yoo Yeon Seok then confessed, “As soon as I arrive, they ask, ‘When are you getting married?’”

The conversation shifted to giving allowance money to younger relatives. When Yoo Jae Suk asked if Yoo Yeon Seok was at the age where he should be handing out pocket money, the actor admitted, “I have no choice.” He even shared that last time, he gave his nieces and nephews money through a mini game inspired by “Whenever Possible.”
Yoo Jae Suk playfully scolded him, saying, “That’s really not great. Just give it to them—why make them play a game for it?” The lighthearted banter continued as Yoo Yeon Seok explained he used a table tennis setup for the game.

Later, Jung Sang Hoon and Ji Ye Eun appeared as “gap friends.” The two joked about soon meeting again on “SNL” and teased Yoo Yeon Seok about whether he had received a casting offer.
Claiming to be part of the “casting delegation,” Ji Ye Eun turned to Yoo Jae Suk and asked, “What do you think?”
Without hesitation, Yoo Jae Suk firmly replied, “I can’t appear.”
His blunt response surprised everyone. Yoo Yeon Seok even expressed admiration, saying, “I should learn to cut it off that cleanly.”
Yoo Jae Suk explained his reasoning: “It’s better this way. You shouldn’t say, ‘I’ll think about it.’ Everyone’s busy.”

The veteran entertainer’s direct yet respectful approach once again highlighted his professionalism and decisiveness—qualities that have defined his decades-long career in the Korean entertainment industry.
Elsewhere in the episode, the cast also bonded over their academic histories. Jung Sang Hoon revealed he was expelled, prompting Yoo Jae Suk to joke, “You’re my direct junior. Expulsions are tracked separately.” Ji Ye Eun, meanwhile, shared that she graduated from Korea National University of Arts after eight years due to repeated leaves of absence while pursuing auditions and part-time jobs.
The episode showcased Yoo Jae Suk’s signature wit, honesty, and leadership—proving once again why he remains one of Korea’s most respected MCs.
