On October 23, an insider revealed to OSEN that “Yang Hyun-suk felt no bitterness or anger after seeing Park Bom’s post. Instead, he was deeply concerned—especially about her health condition.”
Just a day earlier, Park Bom shocked fans and industry insiders by uploading part of a legal complaint image to her SNS, titled “Defendant Yang Hyun-suk,” accusing him of fraud and embezzlement. She claimed she never received rightful payments for her work across music, broadcasts, performances, and endorsements during her time with 2NE1, stating the amount owed could exceed 6,427 billion KRW. The bizarrely inflated figure and informal tone of the document led many to question the credibility of her claim.

Under pressure, Park Bom quickly deleted the post, but the backlash had already begun. Her agency D-Nation Entertainment issued a statement saying, “No such lawsuit has been filed, and all settlements related to 2NE1 have already been completed.” They admitted, “We are not able to control her actions at this time,” and emphasized that Park Bom is currently undergoing treatment and taking a complete break from activities.

Most recently, late October 23, she shared a post featuring three pages of written notes. In them, she accused YG Entertainment of mocking her appearance and not giving her appropriate song credits. The idol also claimed that despite working hard, she only broke even. She also claimed that she was refused CF offers and that YG Entertainment “used” her and her family in various ways over the years.
They said they made my appearance look stupid, just to mock me. Thinking about it, YG never once paid for my cosmetic surgery. The few procedures I had were all paid for out of my own pocket. In other words, I stood on stage looking like an ordinary person.
One day, they suddenly apologized to me on the stairs. When I asked why, they said they had been using me as a joke for discussions about plastic surgery. Looking back, they never actually did anything for me. Even when I went to dermatology clinics, I paid for everything myself.
I wrote all of YG’s songs. They locked me up and made me write everything—except for one song. But they never paid me, and even if you search the credits, you won’t find my name.
This comes amid growing concern over Park Bom’s erratic behavior on social media. In recent months, she made headlines for calling actor Lee Min-ho her “husband” repeatedly in posts, and later withdrew from 2NE1’s reunion tour due to health-related issues advised by her doctors.

Born in 1984, Park Bom debuted in 2009 as the main vocalist of 2NE1, standing out for her powerful vocals and emotional tone. However, her career was marred in 2014 when it was revealed she had been caught smuggling amphetamines, a drug classified as a controlled substance in Korea, which she claimed had been prescribed in the U.S. for medical treatment.

Despite her recent return for 2NE1’s 15th anniversary reunion tour, her increasingly unstable actions have sparked concern among fans and professionals alike.
Yang Hyun-suk’s calm response—choosing concern over confrontation—adds another layer to this ongoing public saga. As the story unfolds, attention is shifting from legal conflict to mental health and industry responsibility.
