On the November 20 episode of tvN’s “Sixth Sense: City Tour 2”, Yoo Jae-suk found himself the center of a lighthearted debate—about why he never goes shirtless, even at home in his ₩8.6 billion penthouse.
During a segment where cast members Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin, Go Kyung-pyo, and Mimi teamed up with guests Kim Dong-hyun and Chuu to uncover a fake hotspot in Incheon, a playful conversation turned personal. Ji Suk-jin, complaining about the heat while sleeping, mentioned he was still sweating. Go Kyung-pyo asked if he wore pajamas, to which Yoo replied for him: “He sleeps in just underwear.”
Yoo added that Ji’s wife and son sleep fully clothed, questioning why only Ji would lounge around in minimal wear. Ji defended himself, asking if it was really that strange. Yoo chimed in: “I wear shorts at home—I don’t even take my shirt off.”
Go Kyung-pyo then teased Yoo with a jab that sent the group into laughter: “But you have that issue… you know, with what’s ‘a bit lower down.’” This was a cheeky reference to Yoo Jae-suk’s long-standing inside joke—that his nipples are positioned unusually low on his torso, earning him the comical nickname “Lower-than-usual.”
Caught off guard, Yoo responded: “What issue? What kind of issue is that between family members?” Ji Suk-jin then added fuel to the fire with a grin, saying, “Just imagine he has three belly buttons,” cracking everyone up.
Despite his modest home habits, Yoo Jae-suk has been making major real estate moves. After over 15 years of renting in Apgujeong’s Hyundai Apartment complex, he reportedly purchased a ₩8.6 billion (approx. $6.6 million) penthouse in Nonhyeon-dong, officially securing a home of his own.
While Yoo may be South Korea’s “Nation’s MC,” even in luxury, he’s keeping it modest—and fully clothed.
