In recent days, actress Chen Kuang‑Yi (Andrea Chen) has been embroiled in a major personal-life controversy that has shaken Taiwan’s entertainment industry. The former “youth goddess,” once hugely popular, has been accused of inappropriately approaching multiple former male university classmates, many of whom are married. According to investigations by Taiwanese media, Chen’s unusual behavior has allegedly been going on for many years.

Several male alumni from the same university claimed they received messages from the actress asking to meet and “talk.” Notably, Chen allegedly insisted on late-night meetings, either at the men’s residences or on deserted streets. During these encounters, she was said to be wearing thin sleepwear, camisole tops, and shorts.

After being accused of soliciting former classmates, Chen Kuang‑Yi caused further alarm by repeatedly posting dark and disturbing messages on her personal social media accounts, expressing suicidal thoughts. She said she felt desperate after being falsely accused of trying to become a “third party” and destroy other people’s families, despite having once been pursued by well-known actors Chen Bo‑lin and Kuo Pin‑chao.
“My suicide note is almost finished. How can you all say such untrue things about me? I’ve endured enough. It’s you who have pushed me into depression, forcing me to live under constant criticism and slander,” Chen Kuang‑Yi wrote on her personal page.
At present, friends are extremely worried about Chen Kuang‑Yi’s unstable condition. According to sources, she has shown signs of mental health issues since last year. She was once spotted wandering the streets for two consecutive days and was even seen casually changing clothes inside a glass-walled shop right next to a busy road.
