A webtoon artist’s review of Lee Hyori‘s yoga lesson has now gone viral for capturing the K-Pop star’s down-to-earth personality.
@dingmyo on Instagram shared their experience attending a class at “Ananda Yoga,” a studio owned and taught by Lee Hyori. Noting the calm and serene vibe that Lee Hyori gave off as yoga instructor Ananda, they recalled that at one point during the lesson, the poses became challenging.
As people started losing their balance and falling down, Lee Hyori got playful and told the class, “Please don’t get hurt. Other yoga instructors can get away with compensating for the treatment, but if something happens here, I’ll be on the news.” While her humor eased the tension in the studio, people continued to stumble.
Then, Lee Hyori “flexed” in her OG K-Pop legend glory and quipped, “It’s actually OK because I’m rich!”

A longtime yoga practitioner, Lee Hyori opened Ananda Yoga in Seoul’s Yeonhui-dong neighborhood in September and currently teaches two-hour yoga classes daily.
