In a recent livestream, Coco spoke candidly about her life after the breakup, sharing, “Life after the breakup has really been relaxing. I’ve been traveling around Europe a lot and especially love the romantic atmosphere in France.” Dressed stylishly in designer clothing and radiating positive energy, Coco’s demeanor suggested a comfortable and prosperous lifestyle. When asked about reported financial support after their split, she deflected the question. Insiders say Patrick Tse generously gave Coco around 20 million HKD as seed money for her ventures in mainland China. Although no longer a couple, they are said to remain on good terms, with Coco occasionally visiting and staying over.
Born in Shanghai in 1985, Coco spent 12 years with Patrick Tse despite their significant age difference. The pair met at a café in Shanghai through a mutual friend when Coco was in her early twenties and inexperienced in relationships. Patrick Tse’s confident manners helped break the initial awkwardness between them, leading to private dates and eventually public appearances as a couple. Coco described him as outwardly aloof but inwardly warm, sensitive, and cultured qualities she found rare and meaningful.

In her younger years, Coco lived a spirited nightlife lifestyle, often remaining in bars until morning. Patrick Tse would caution her to be careful with alcohol, noting the health risks and how easily women can lose control when drunk. Beyond emotional support, he also invested in her future, sending her to study abroad in the UK while she, in turn, cared for him attentively.
Over the years, Coco became integrated into Patrick Tse’s family. She built positive relationships with his ex‑wife, Deborah Lee, and his children, including Nicholas Tse and Jennifer Tse. Paparazzi images often showed Coco enjoying meals with the extended family and happily posing with Patrick Tse’s children and grandchildren.

In 2015, Patrick Tse revealed on a TV show that after Jennifer Tse turned six, he chose to undergo a vasectomy. On the talk show A Date with Luyu, he also shared that in the last three years of their relationship, he and Coco “only danced, ate, and had fun together,” inviting viewers to believe what they wished.
By age 82, Patrick Tse eventually encouraged Coco to return to mainland China. Sources suggest that the couple’s differing life goals contributed to their split: as Coco entered her 30s, she began yearning for motherhood a desire Patrick Tse, well past 80, could not fulfill. Though she initially resisted, she eventually understood his perspective.

Patrick Tse was a celebrated TVB actor known for iconic roles in series such as The Legend of the Condor Heroes, The Flying Fox of Snowy Mountain, and Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. He had two marriages, first to Chen Chen and later to Deborah Lee, with whom he had children Nicholas and Jennifer, both of whom also pursued careers in entertainment. In addition to his long relationship with Coco, Patrick Tse reportedly dated five other girlfriends throughout his life. Now in his 90s, he is often seen using a wheelchair.
