Chinese actress Tang Yan and actor Luo Jin, once hailed as one of China’s model celebrity couples, are facing renewed media attention following reports of their divorce. Though neither party has responded publicly, Tang Yan’s unexpected appearance at Luo Jin’s father’s funeral on November 23 in Beijing has stirred fresh speculation about their current relationship.
Luo Jin’s father passed away on November 19 at the age of 70. The memorial service, held four days later, was conducted in a highly private manner—photos were prohibited and only minimal ceremonial decor was present. While the public speculated that Tang Yan might be absent due to the rumored split, she arrived discreetly via a private entrance and was seen accompanying Luo Jin throughout the service. She later left with him, reinforcing her visible support.
Tang Yan’s father also attended, dressed in black, respectfully paying his condolences—an appearance that many saw as a significant gesture, regardless of the couple’s marital status.

Some sources claim the couple had been living separately for some time before the divorce rumors emerged, due to career demands and familial responsibilities.
