According to his agency, TOPSPOT PICTURES, former BIGBANG member T.O.P will release his debut studio album “Another Dimension” on April 3. This comeback arrives 13 years after his last solo track, “DOOM DADA” (2013), making it one of the longest gaps between releases among K-pop soloists.
“Another Dimension” is particularly meaningful, as it is T.O.P’s first full-length solo album, and he reportedly took part in the overall production process. This signals a more personal and artist-driven project compared to his previous releases.
Teasers for the album have already sparked attention. The “Studio54” teaser for “Completely Crazy!” features bold typography and experimental sound design, while the “DESPERADO” teaser highlights cinematic visuals and T.O.P’s signature charisma. T.O.P’s return carries added weight due to his long absence from the music industry. In 2016, he was sentenced to a suspended sentence for marijuana use, after which he stated he would step away from the entertainment world.

He officially departed from BIGBANG in 2023, closing a major chapter of his career. However, he gradually re-entered the spotlight through acting, appearing in Netflix’s Squid Game Season 2 in 2024. With this upcoming album, T.O.P is now resuming activities not only as an actor but also as a musician.
Adding to the buzz, fellow BIGBANG member G-Dragon drew attention after liking a social media post related to T.O.P’s comeback. While subtle, the gesture has been widely interpreted by fans as a sign of continued support between the former groupmates.
As one of K-pop’s most distinctive voices and personalities, T.O.P’s return is being closely watched by fans and industry insiders alike. With a long-awaited full album and creative involvement, “Another Dimension” could mark a defining new chapter in his solo career.
