Known to have had a distinguished career, Sung’s father was a professor at the Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary. After retiring in 2013, he transitioned into pastoral work.
Sung Yu-ri herself married professional golfer Ahn Sung-hyun in May 2017. The couple has twin daughters.
