Actor Prince Chiu (from They Kiss Again) has been embroiled in a major scandal after being exposed for having an affair with influencer Guoguo, the wife of actor-model Fan Jiang Yan Feng. The public was especially shocked by reports that Prince secretly met Guoguo in a luxury apartment worth NT$62 million while she was still legally married.
Because Prince had previously been burdened with tens of millions in debt—paying off what his father owed—many questioned how he could afford such an expensive home.
On November 14, Yahoo News released explosive new information that clarified everything: the apartment does not belong to Prince Chiu.

The apartment, it turns out, is owned by Hannah Quinlivan, wife of superstar Jay Chou. Jay Chou purchased the property in 2019 for NT$50 million as a gift for Hannah. After hearing about Prince’s financial struggles in repaying his father’s debts, Hannah generously allowed him to live there free of charge.
However, media reports reveal that Prince was far from grateful. While staying in the apartment, he frequently threw loud late‑night parties, irritating neighbors to the point where building security had to intervene multiple times.
Prince Chiu has been heavily criticized ever since Taiwanese media exposed his affair and betrayal of a close friend. The scandal began when Fan Jiang Yan Feng publicly accused Prince on Instagram of having an extramarital relationship with his wife, releasing a lengthy video detailing how he discovered the affair. He declared he had undeniable evidence, including photos of Guoguo and Prince hugging each other while naked.

According to Fan, he hired a private investigator after noticing unusual behavior from his wife. The investigator collected multiple pieces of evidence, confirming that Guoguo had already moved in with Prince while still married. Prince and Fan had once been close friends in the entertainment industry.
Fan added that Guoguo’s attitude changed dramatically after a trip to the U.S. with Prince earlier this year. When she returned to Taiwan in mid-March, she refused to come home and cut off contact with her husband for more than three months.
Even after being caught, Guoguo showed no remorse. Instead, she openly flaunted her relationship with Prince on social media and moved into the luxury apartment with him—ignoring her husband entirely.

Following the scandal, major Taiwanese TV networks announced the suspension of all programs and dramas featuring Prince Chiu. A perfume brand also canceled his scheduled promotional event. Facing massive backlash from both the public and the industry, Prince announced an indefinite halt to all entertainment activities.
Born in 1989, Prince Chiu rose to fame as a member of the boy group Lollipop. He later found success in acting, starring in popular idol dramas such as Brown Sugar Macchiato and They Kiss Again. Once known as the “Prince of Taiwanese Showbiz” for his charming looks and massive fanbase, his carefully built image has now completely collapsed because of the scandal.
