Even after two months, the ashes of Leung Siu-Lung are reportedly still not buried. Additionally, media outlets have revealed shocking details about the late actor’s marriage to his wife, Song Xiang.
According to Sohu, following Leung Siu-Lung’s passing, his social media accounts have continued to be updated by family members. This has sparked controversy, with some criticizing the act as disrespectful to the deceased. More recently, Hong Kong media reported that despite two months having passed, the Kung Fu Hustle star has yet to be laid to rest. His ashes are reportedly still being kept at a funeral home. A source close to the family revealed that they have not yet purchased a burial plot and may instead opt to store the ashes at the facility for free for up to 10 years.

In addition, a disciple of the veteran actor revealed shocking information: Leung Siu-Lung’s marriage to Song Xiang was far from the happy image she portrayed publicly. The two reportedly had little contact and lived separately for 10 years. It was even claimed that the actor had requested a divorce 12 times during his lifetime, but all attempts failed.

Meanwhile, Song Xiang allegedly maintained the image of a loving couple in public. It was also reported that she was not by his side to care for him during his illness and surgery.
These revelations from Hong Kong media have stirred public debate, triggering mixed reactions. As of now, the actor’s family has not issued any official response.
According to Sohu, Song Xiang is 20 years younger than Leung Siu-Lung. The couple has one son and one daughter, and their family has lived primarily in Shenzhen for many years.

Song Xiang is Leung Siu-Lung’s second wife. Previously, he had a failed marriage with singer Irene Ryder. The two were childhood sweethearts—he had long admired her and confessed his feelings before they married. However, their relationship eventually ended bitterly, marked by public disputes rather than an amicable separation.
Leung Siu-Lung passed away on January 14, shocking the public and media alike. He had remained active on social media up until his final days. In fact, just one day before his passing, he attended a gathering with friends and personally gifted them his calligraphy works. In photos from the event, he showed no visible signs of health issues and appeared alert and in good condition.
